Product Description:  Rhassoul, also known as ghassoul, is a clay found only in Morocco. This clay is beige or pink in color and has been used for centuries as a natural means for cleansing the skin and hair. Rhassoul clay is rich in minerals (iron, potassium, magnesium and silica) with absorbent properties, which gently cleanses your skin. Pores become finer and over time your skin will be less dry and more radiant!

Often rhassoul is used as a face mask, hair mask or body mask. The latter is part of hammam rituals and thus a traditional Arab treatment. In addition, the clay ensures that your hair and scalp become clean, get more volume and become less greasy. All this is done gently, making it a versatile product that everyone can benefit from.

Tips:

• Do not use metal tools, but instead use wood or bamboo for example!
• Do not let the clay dry while it is on your skin, as this will dry out your skin too much.
• Rhassoul/ghassoul clay can affect dyed hair because it reacts to the minerals in the clay.
• Use the rhassoul powder as a dry shampoo!

Face mask and body mask:  Put 1 tablespoon of clay in a small bowl and slowly add 3 tablespoons of water. Stir this until a spreadable and at the same time firm mixture is formed. Is it too thick? Add a little water. Is it too thin? Add some extra clay. Apply the mask and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Then rinse it off with water. This mask can also be used as a body mask. To do this, use more clay and water, in the same proportions.

Hair mask:  Use the same recipe as the face mask, or add a little clay to your usual shampoo instead. Wash your hair as usual.

Dry shampoo:  Add a little rhassoul powder to your hair, let it soak in for a while and then comb it out well.
