Product description:  Beeswax cloths are the alternative to cling film. Food stays fresh longer and you avoid the use of plastic and aluminum foil. Beeskin beeswax cloths are made by hand from European raw materials, in Berlin.

In this kit:

• 1 beeswax cloth of 25 x 25 cm
• 1 beeswax cloth of 35 x 35 cm

How to use:

Fold the beeswax cloth around the piece of fruit, piece of cheese, vegetables, herbs, lunch, open package, cup, bottle, bowl or saucer. If necessary, use your body heat to shape and seal the beeswax cloth. In the refrigerator the beeswax cloth becomes hard and at room temperature the cloth becomes soft and malleable again.

• Cotton (certified organic to the highest standard) - as a base,
• Beeswax (checked for residues of pollutants and pesticides),
• Tree resin - so that it sticks even better
• Jojoba oil (organic) - to keep the cloth supple

Why do we need an alternative to cling film?
Many animals experience the deadly consequences of microplastic poisoning. And not just fish, turtles and sea birds. Micro-plastics end up in the entire ecosystem, with all the associated consequences.

Beeskin beeswax cloths are made exclusively of cotton (certified to the highest standard), beeswax (tested for residues of harmful substances and pesticides), organic jojoba oil and natural tree resin. Our beeswax cloths can be used, washed and reused for up to 1 year. Then they can be easily composted or used as a natural fire igniter.

With a sustainable product, the CO2 balance must of course also be good. That is why our bee cloths are produced, packed and shipped exclusively in Berlin. We only use European raw materials and consciously avoid cheaper alternatives.
